Israel is one of the most important and most controversial countries in the Middle East. It is a small country, about the same size as New Jersey. The population of the country is not only made of Jews but people of other religious and ethnic backgrounds.
The military forces of Israel are mighty because of the strength of its training, nuclear weapons, technologies, and equipment. The country also has a strong economy and strong foreign alliances.
One of the critical reasons for Israel’s continued existence is the unwavering political and military support from the United States. The US has supported Israel in all aspects, good or bad since it was founded in 1948.
Israel is now known for its technological prowess and exporting the best weapons to the rest of the world, generating $6.5 billion in arms sales yearly. Israel spends roughly 4.5% of its gross domestic product (GDP) on national development, about twice as much for international economic cooperation and development, and about 30% for military purposes.
Israel utilized robots instead of soldiers, the first in the world. Uncrewed Ground Vehicles or UGVs are a new approach for the Defense Force to deploy the robotic military. It only requires a full tank of gas and can work more effectively than human soldiers.
Israel launched its first satellite into space in the year 1988. Many countries questioned Israel’s ability to develop such a high-tech product on its own. However, it has evolved into a super-powerful satellite with eight separate space spies about 30 years later.
The TecSar is a new satellite developed by Israel. This satellite employs a synthetic aperture sensor, a radar system capable of producing high-resolution images comparable to a camera’s. One of the striking aspects is that while a camera cannot record pictures through clouds or fog, radars can work in any weather.
This maintains a significant edge in military sources, thus allowing the tracking of enemies and gathering pieces of information around them at any time of day and in any weather condition.
Israeli air forces deployed their first operational Arrow missile battery in 2000, making Israel the first country to have this system capable of shooting down incoming enemy missiles on its own. After US President Ronald Reagan invented the phrase “star war plans” and invited America’s allies to join him in constructing the system in the mid-1980s, he came up with the idea for the system.
Only Israel, among all the countries worldwide, has utilized missile defense systems during wars. When the United Kingdom and other countries refused to supply Israel tanks, they developed their own. The ‘Merkava tank’ is now considered one of Israel’s most important projects. It is claimed to be one of the world’s most devastating tanks. It can go up to a speed of 40 mph.
Israel also has some of the largest clients in the world, such as Pampers, Victoria’s Secret, etc.
These are the main reasons why Israel became one of the most powerful countries.
